Avatar (in 3D IMAX)
I’m not quite sure how this movie got any bad reviews, I read some before watching it. I must say I was thoroughly impressed! The movie turned out to be a love story, the cast only has a few recognizable actors, Sigourney Weaver, Giovanni Ribisi, and voice actors Zoe Saldana, and CCH Pounder. First of all the animation is like nothing before, the graphics and integration between CGI and actual actors is amazing. The 3D IMAX experience pushes it over the edge. I would say if I saw this movie in 2D it definitely would NOT be the same.
I liked it, go to the theater right now and go see it. I give it a 8.8/10 (Oddly enough this is the same score on IMDB which I rarely match)
